Prophetic Pest Part 2

Where do these people come from?  There is one universal consistency in our lives and that is we will always be bombarded by bombastic bodacious babblers.  Here we go again dawdling down deja vu drive with another headline grabbing prophetic pest.  I was hoping that the last article I had written about a religious radical was the last time I had to explain that mixing Church and State is never a good idea.  It’s another one of those banana cream pie & ketchup concoctions that end up with a bad taste result.  I should have known that my lambasting article on March 10th titled, “Prophetic Pest” wasn’t going to be the end of it and more of these slugs were bound to crawl out from under their stone home.  Let’s see what this collaborator of contentious commentary has to say, then.

His title is Pastor Jeff Jansen, another self-described prophet, who leads the “Global Fires Ministries International” in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  First off, I am a simplistic soul who was raised as a Catholic (sorta) and was even an altar boy.  I recognized many other bone fide religious affiliations, but I have always been skeptical of our religious freedoms going “off the charts” and folks coming out of the woodwork, setting up these offshoot ministries.  Suspicious activity to say the least.  I don’t know this Jeff Jansen and I have no desire to do anymore research on him than I already have.  I always stop when I get to the word prophet and was thankful to come across that word in the 1st sentence.  This hodad is like the other hodad and has fallen victim to that Trump is still President conspiracy theory.  He should run for Congress as a Trumpublican since he would have plenty of company.  This kook, however, went into more detail than the last kook who said the shit is going to hit the fan sometime down the road.  This current kook is more precise and has moved the timeline up to April 25th, give or take.  Gee, what if it’s already happened and we missed it?  He goes into more detail than the last guy, but he’s a little mixed up about things that have already occurred.  For instance, he said, people will be “dancing in the streets!”  Well, yes, but that transpired 4 days after the election when Biden was officially declared as President-Elect.  He describes Biden and his Administration as “theater.”  I’d be careful there Bozo, you don’t want to bite the occupation that feeds you.  He also said he is not making this political, ehhhhh!!!  Too late!!!  To say this dude isn’t a JCL (carnival euphemism for a Johnny Come Lately) would be right up there with Trump conceding.

I hope this is the last of these kinds of lectures.  I am not comfortable trying to explain the benefits of combining Church and State since there aren’t any.  Unfortunately, we have these so-called pseudo pastors that make headlines with their “off the wall” antics like the true Trumpublicans they are.  I am reminded of that verse in Charlie Daniel’s song, “Long Haired Country Boy” when he sings, “Preacherman on the TV, putting down rock & roll, asking me for a donation, cause he’s worried about my soul, Jesus walked on water, I know that it’s true, sometimes I think that Preacherman should do a little walkin’ too!”  This latest hodad comes from a long line of religious hodads proclaiming to be prophets, when all they really are, are profiteers!  Stay tuned…..!
