Blue-Monday

I just can’t catch a break!  It’s getting pathetic to turn on my computer these days and face the nation.  This Monday morning is particularly grisly.  The 1st thing my eye scans is a picture of a maskless concert in El Cajon, California and a picture of Fox News Laura Ingraham.  Just the sight of her made me run over to the kitchen sink to puke.  So here I am, staring at two stories that warrant consideration on account of their headlines: “Sean Feucht Concert Draws Hundreds of Maskless Revelers to See Evangelical Singer” and “Laura Ingraham’s Brother Calls Her Pathetic.”  Well, he’s in good company.  I scanned the pathetic story first as it had the makings of a good family squabble.  His name is Curtis and he’s a self-proclaimed sibling fact checker.  Whew!  That’s a full time job.  Seems that Fox News Science Editor Dr. Laura Ingraham shared an article to twitter about Dr. Fauci discussing the deadliness of the new strain of COVID-19 in the U.K. and said: “Dr. Doom is back.”  Curtis retweeted his sister with: “My sister is pathetic!  Criticizing Dr. Fauci?!  What is your expertise exactly Laura beyond spinning lies and conspiracies?  Apologies Dr. Fauci and huge thanks!!!”  Whoa!  This is way more than a family squabble.  Looks more like a lifetime commitment to sanitize her f**kups.  Well Curt, you just made our xmas card list.  My advice to you is, let her go, cut the cord and let her float free.  She will be her own undoing.   Besides, like Trump, she’s entertainment value.  Every so often, my wife and I turn to Fox News when she’s on, turn the sound down and say rude things about her.  Sometimes I take one of those erasable markers and draw comely scabs and zits on her face.  Like I said, entertainment.

The other headline is way too moronic for words.  This country is doomed.  No wonder we lead the world in Covid-19 stupidity.  Thanks to Donald J. Trump and his band of gorillas, a huge majority of antagonistic imbeciles are coming out of the woodwork and creating more collateral damage.  Right under the headline is a blurb that states, “Crowds flocked on Sunday to El Cajon Park for a free concert by musician Sean Feucht, who’s been leading the controversial “Let us Worship” campaign during the pandemic defiance of lockdowns and social distancing measures.”  Wow!  If there is one thing that will make me foam at the mouth with rabid intensity to write about are maskless pseudo-religious zealots flaunting the virus in the midst of a pandemic hot spot.  Stupid plus stupid equals more stupid.  Now I don’t know who this Sean Feucht is and I don’t wanna know.  I got enough into the story to see that he is another Trumpublican preaching 1st amendment rights.  I read enough.  I don’t need the sordid details about another misaligned planet ignoramus.  It would explain things better if your last name ended with up.  Sorry Sean, but you’ll have to put a mask on, take a Covid test, wait for the results, then take a number and go to the back of the line.  Stay tuned…..!
