Bobble-Heads

We are now at, “The Worst Of Times,” perambulating into, “The Winter Of Our Discontent,” whilst being bombarded by, “The Dark Side,”  My apologies to Dickens, Shakespeare and Lucas, but there is a disturbance in The Force.  Donny and the Storm Troopers are still running amok, trying to keep his political base of mis-informed minions all riled up in their attempt to ignore the Constitution and tear apart our Democracy.  The Retrumplican Party is cowering at this 2 year olds feet, afraid of his tantrums and revenge at the expense to the rest of us and our Nation.  Is this what the Grand Old Party has evolved into, a Party that promotes force and violence?   Honest Abe has to be turning over in his grave.  To make matters worse, 50+ lawsuits have been filed since election day and his winning record is so dismal, that if he were an NFL coach, he would be out of a job.  The latest debacle involved the Supreme Court over his attempt to have a million Pennsylvania ballots thrown out.  He held a press conference asking for the 9 justices to show courage and do the right thing.  In the end, they did, on both counts and they threw it out!  Final score: SCOTUS 9  Trump 0!  I literally ate it up.  He loads up the court and they turn on him.  Next up now for SCOTUS is a real unrealistic ploy by the Texas Attorney General to toss out the Biden electors in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.  Am I missing something here?  I had no idea that a Texas AG bobble-head can go outside his jurisdiction to invalidate ballots from other states.  I’m not a student of political science, but I need not be to know it’s a political gambit.  Now, if that isn’t inept enough, 17 other state AG’s have joined with Texas and if it were to go to SCOTUS, who is going to represent them, none other than Ted Cruz.  I was under the impression that he and Trump can’t stand each other.  Word on the street has it that they cannot be in the same room together as the stench would be way too overpowering.  However, my curiosity got the best of me, so I looked up to see which states made this moronic decision and I find that I used to reside in a few of them.  If I were living in one of those states at the present time, I would move. You can now say enough is enough, right?  Wrong!  Now I just learned there are 106 Trumpublican bobble-heads from the House, who are siding with this lunatic lawsuit.  Talk about wholesale insanity!  They don’t know it, but they are fortunate that I don’t live in the same district, 1st victims would be their vehicle tires.  If they don’t relent, then next would be a scene from “The Godfather!”  

Whoa!  Hold the presses!  This just in!  I am always thrilled to report an item in real time!  CNN just reported that SCOTUS has turned down the very folly I am presently editing.  That’s it, the deed is done!  After all these overtimes, the final score: SCOTUS 18  Twitty Tweet Trump 0

Here is how I see these times played out.  Eventually, the Governing Body along with the Law of the Land will dump Trump Tyranny.  He will officially be deemed certifiable and placed under protective custody, in a secured unnamed location in upstate New York.  He will spend most of his days going over just exactly what went wrong with his legal council, Runamok Rudy, who happens to be incarcerated in the same undisclosed location.  Stay tuned…..!

Uncommon Failure

Okay, I’ll let you all be the judge and jury of the following statement that I came across that was buried in the dark corners of the internet where I usually find my strange and highly unusual articles of confoundation.  This is a Los Angeles Times letter to the editor ( https://www.latimes.com/opinion/story/2021-04-12/huntington-beach-ku-klux-klan ) about the “burb” of Huntington Beach.  Headline: “Common ground with the Ku Klux Klan?  Huntington Beach has a problem.”  The letter starts off with, “As Huntington Beach was preparing for a Ku Klux Klan rally and, in response, a Black Lives Matter counter protest, police department spokesman Lt. Brian Smith said,” now here’s the kicker, “We hope that they can utilize events like this as a means to find the common ground and work together for the common goal.”  ???  I thought I would substitute the usual WTF that usually follows an incredulous statement like that with question marks.  I never pass up the ...

The New Cult

Past cult leaders the likes of Sun Myung Moon, David Koresh and Jim Jones, exemplary role models for “Moonies”, “Davidians” and “Peoples Templers” are said to have had a charismatic  gift of gab and were able to ensnarl a whole slew of followers into their realm.  They, of course, have since passed into the great beyond.  Moon was 92 when he died of pneumonia, Korish was 33 when he and his zealots died with guns blazing and Jones 47, died with his lemmings from a bad dose of kool-aid.  There was a rumor going around that his last words were, “Hey, did someone spike this stuff!”   Like Stalin, Hitler and Atilla the Hun, these folks had the innate ability to sway the masses.  To this day, I still can’t figure out how.  I was more enamored with garden slugs than those “coots.”  Nowadays, we have a new malady in our midst, an anomaly if you will, who not only doesn’t have a gift of gab, but cannot even enunciate words correctly, uses alternative facts...
