Pull the Plug
I can just picture Herb Brooks,
the analyst he was, explaining the current political situation and how to
downsize it, just like he did with the Russian Hockey Team in the 1980 Winter
Olympics. His locker room speech was one for the ages and like his team,
he would inspire the media, be it audio, visual or print form to do what needs
to be done and that is to “pull the plug” on Donald Trump. It’s time to
shut him down! His time is done, his 15 minutes have expired!
Right now I am visualizing Herb’s down to earth logic and common sense
exiling this miasma of Trumpism down a “blackhole” never to be seen or heard
from again. Wouldn’t the peace and quiet alone be exhilarating?
Sorry folks for the
interruption, but we now switch over from, if only, to reality. As much as
this country (and the world for that matter) could use a break from all the
havoc he wreaked, it will never happen. The guy is an endless supply of
fodder for every source of media on the planet. Look at me, I am one of
the nicest apolitical characters you would have ever met and this is my 9th
article in the last 8 days. I write about Minnesota High School Hockey,
which amounts to one article a week and on election day, I switched genre,
shifted into warp drive and average more than an article per day. How is
this possible? Every good story has a who, what, when, where and why and
that’s all true, but with Bubblebrain in the equation, you also have comedy,
chaos, confusion, crisis and controversy. There is absolutely no end in
any foreseeable future to the grist mill. However, there is dim hope as
he was cut off by TV networks for falsely claiming voting fraud. It is a
sad day when news journalists have to explain to those watching out there in TV
land that the President of the United States is full of shit! I don’t
know where to go from here, but I am sure that a sign will come from the
governess of gobbledygook which will help me reload for more who, what, when,
where and whys for tomorrow. Stay tuned…..!
